Olympic Lifting Clinic with Drew Dillon from Project Lift! (No 11am CF WOD)
The $60 Clinic will include mobility for OLY lifts, positional instruction and skills and drills for the Snatch.
This is an open invitation! You do not need to be a Birdtown CrossFit member to attend.

Yep, jumping ahead a month but get this on your calendar!
Fat Head’s & BTCF are joining up for a Sunday Funday at the new brewery in Middleburg Heights.
$20 gets your first beer and appetizers + a brewery tour with Sara, discount on Fat Head’s merch and a place to watch the Browns take on the Texans.
Safety first! You must have a designated driver for the event. To help, BTCF is covering $10 Lyft rides to/from the event. The code will be shared closer to the date.

Programming Focus

In October we started a short Oly Cycle. In November we are progressing! Throughout the month you will see complex and lifts that more often incorporate pulling the bar from below the knee. In addition, we will also start layering in more full squat receiving positions as we progress past the power position. As we get closer to year’s end you will start to see some classic CF benchmarks as well as classic lifts for “rep maxes.” We love benchmarks and 1RM lifts because they give athletes a good frame of reference for their current fitness as well as comparison points for past personal bests or future goals. We are pumped to close out the year with some amazing workouts!
Remember, the House Rules hanging on the wall, say it best “Have fun. This is your playground.” We’re looking forward to another fun month at BTCF!
